About me

I'm Allison Brown, I am a Reiki Master and offer Reiki Healing in Mirfield, West Yorkshire. I am fully trained to Master Healer Level and am a full member of the UK Reiki Federation and meet their required levels for ethical practice.

I first encountered Reiki energy for myself after a course on working with energy and spirituality and decided at that point it was a way of working and healing that I wanted to develop. I believe, as many who encounter Reiki do, that this wonderful loving energy can help us in many ways - by healing on a physical, emotional and spiritual level and often providing insights on how to live our lives in a different and more empowering ways. As a Reiki Master healer I work with high level Reiki energy and work in a committed way to provide the best healing I can for other people.

People experience Reiki in many ways and is always a personal experience that will change over time - a Reiki session will never be exactly the same when repeated. I've included on the testimonials page some of the many comments I have had from people following their Reiki experiences.

Reiki is taught to students by Reiki Masters over the decades. As such the Reiki teachings received can be traced back via the Masters to Mikao Usui himself. My lineage is also goes back directly to Usui, as shown below.

I did all my training at First Light and found it to be a very enlightening and healing experience - it helped me come to terms and accept many things in my life as well as finding ways to live in a more calm and understanding way.
